Overview
With sportsYou Pro, you can schedule messages in team or group chats for future delivery. This is perfect for sending reminders, updates, or important announcements at just the right time, even if you’re away from your device.
How to Schedule a Message
Tap the chat icon and then select the blue + button to create a chat.
Type your message in the input box as usual.
Tap the new schedule icon (next to the camera and attachment icons).
Choose your date and time from the picker.
Tap Save.
Note: After saving, a confirmation message will appear above the input box.
If only one message is scheduled:
You’ll see: “Your message will be sent on [DATE] @ [TIME].”
If multiple messages are scheduled:
You’ll see: “# messages will be sent. See all scheduled messages.”
How to View and Edit Scheduled Messages
Tap the Scheduled Messages icon at the top-right of your Chat List screen.
This opens the list of all your scheduled messages.
Each scheduled message displays:
Chat avatar
Chat name
Message preview (first 2 lines)
Attached files (if any)
Scheduled time
More options (•••) — tap to Edit or Delete
You can update:
Message content
Attached files
Scheduled time
Chat Indicators
If a chat has scheduled messages:
A special icon appears to the left of the favorite star in your Chat List, so you never forget what’s scheduled.
Notes for New Chats
If you schedule a message in a brand-new chat (with no prior messages), the chat will appear only for you until the first message is delivered.
Recipients won’t see the chat until the scheduled message is sent.
