Overview
When you subscribe to sportsYou Pro, all previous upsell icons are replaced with fully accessible features. This means you’ll get immediate access to Pro functionality, no more locked features or upgrade prompts.
This article walks you through what changes in your app once Pro is activated.
Features & UI Enhancements
1. Home Feed – Pro Badge
A Pro badge appears next to the logo at the top of your Home Feed.
This badge is for display only, it’s not tappable.
2. Side Menu – Premium Support Access
The Support menu is replaced with a new merged Premium Support option.
Tapping this option opens Intercom, where you can chat directly with the Pro Support team.
3. Chat – Full Scheduling Access
In both the Chat List and Chat Room, the Schedule Message icons now offer full functionality.
You can schedule messages directly within the chat experience.
4. Calendar – Upgraded Experience
When you enter the Calendar as a Pro user:
You’ll see the Detail View by default.
The filter icon turns Havelock Blue, indicating Pro status.
All calendar views and filters are now fully functional.
5. Pro Search – Smarter Results
Replaces the standard search with an enhanced Pro version.
Tap the search icon in the top-right of the Home screen—it now opens Premium Search.
Lets you search across Posts, Chats, Files, and Events.
6. Pro User Avatar Badge
A Pro badge appears on your avatar, visible only to you for now.
This badge shows up in:
Home Feed and Team Feed (in “Share a Post” sections)
Side Menu next to your name
Profile screen avatar
7. Profile Screen – Pro Badge + Functionality
A Pro badge is shown at the top-left of your profile screen.
Visibility:
This badge is visible to all users.
Behavior when tapped:
Regular users → Opens a paywall screen
Pro users → Opens the RevenueCat customer support screen for managing your subscription
8. Pro Media – Download Media from Posts
Adds a Download button to posts with images or videos.
Allows you to download all media from a post directly to your device.
Available in both the feed and single post view.
Only visible when media is included in the post.
9. Print Calendar – Export Your Schedule
Lets you print your calendar from Simple View or Detail View.
The printed version reflects your current filters and selected teams.
Supports both portrait and landscape layouts.
Displays key event details like time, title, and team indicators.
10. Dark Mode – Customize Your App Appearance
An appearance toggle appears at the top of the side navigation menu
Choose from ☀️ Light, 🌙 Dark, or ◑ System (auto-matches your device)
Your selected preference is saved to your account
