Overview
Print Calendar is a sportsYou Pro feature that lets you print your calendar in a clean, easy-to-read format. You can print from Simple View or Detail View, and your printed calendar will match the filters you have selected at the time you print.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open your calendar in sportsYou.
Select either Simple View or Detail View.
Apply any filters you want included in the printed version.
Select the Print icon in the top header.
The Print icon appears to the right of the Subscribe button.
The Print icon is only available in Simple View and Detail View.
Choose your print settings.
Print Calendar supports portrait and landscape orientation.
Your printed calendar will reflect the exact calendar view and filters selected when you print.
Print or save the calendar as a PDF from your device’s print window.
What Appears on the Printed Calendar
The printed calendar includes:
The current month
Team footnotes
Team colors and unique team shapes
Event start times
Event titles
All-day events
Multi-day events
Game day indicators
Team Footnotes and Legend
The printed calendar includes a header with team footnotes.
Up to 12 teams can be shown.
If more than 12 teams are included, the header shows up to 11 teams followed by “and xx more teams…”
Each team is represented by its assigned color and a unique shape.
Teams with no events in the printed view are hidden from the legend.
Print Layout Details
Portrait orientation:
Team footnotes display in a 3-column by 4-row grid.
Long team names wrap up to three lines.
A maximum of 7 events display per day.
If more than 7 events exist on a date, the last entry shows “and xx more…”
Landscape orientation:
Team footnotes display in a 4-column by 3-row grid.
Team names display on one line.
A maximum of 5 events display per day.
If more than 5 events exist on a date, the last entry shows “and xx more…”
FAQs
Why don’t I see the Print icon?
The Print icon only appears in Simple View and Detail View. It does not appear in Week View or Day View.
Will my printed calendar include my filters?
Yes. The printed calendar reflects the filters active when you select the Print icon.
Why are some teams missing from the legend?
If a team has no events in the printed calendar view, that team is hidden from the legend.
Can I print from the Team Calendar?
Yes. Team Calendar includes a Print Calendar icon. When printing from a team calendar, only the selected team is filtered, and the legend shows only that team.
Does the printed calendar show today’s date?
Yes. If the selected calendar does not include today’s date, a Today icon appears next to the Subscribe button. The number inside the icon represents today’s date.
