End of Year Team Transition
When the new school year rolls around you have two options for managing your teams: reset your existing teams or start fresh with new ones.
Option 1: Reset your existing team (recommended)
This keeps all your team's media and calendar history intact while giving you a clean roster for the new year.
Open the team and go to Team Settings.
Select Manage Members and remove anyone who is no longer part of the team.
Return to Team Settings and tap Regenerate QR Code — this invalidates the old join link so former members can't rejoin.
Share the new QR code with incoming members to add them to the team.
Your posts, photos, and calendar events will remain exactly as they were.
Option 2: Delete and start fresh
If you'd prefer a complete clean slate, you can delete your existing team and create a new one from scratch.
Open the team and go to Team Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Team.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
To create a new team, return to your home screen and tap Create Team.
Set up your new team and share the join QR code with your members.
⚠️ Deleting a team permanently removes all of its content — posts, media, and calendar history cannot be recovered.
