Not receiving alerts

How to troubleshoot common notification & alert issues.

If you are not receiving sportsYou notifications for certain features:

sportsYou alerts might be altered

There are two ways to fix notifications on your mobile device: one is through settings in sportsYou, and the other is to go to the Settings app on your mobile device.

Here’s what to do:

  1. In sportsYou, go to Account Settings > Notification Settings.

  2. Toggle On or OFF depending on the types you would like to receive.

  3. Select the features you would like to be alerted for.

  4. Restart your app.

Still not receiving alerts...

Try logging out of your account, then removing it and reinstalling it. This usually works, and you will still have access to all your teams and groups as long as you log in using the same username and password. To ensure a smooth process, follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall the App: Remove the sportsYou app from your device if needed.

  2. Reinstall the App: Download and install the sportsYou app again from your device's app store.

  3. Log In: Open the app and log in using the same email and password you used before.

  4. Access Your Teams: Once logged in, you will see all your teams and groups as they were before the app was removed. Ensure you remember your login credentials (email and password) before uninstalling the app. If you encounter any issues logging in, use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password.
