Join Team/Group (Video)

Access codes are unique 8-digit codes that allow users to join specific teams or groups on sportsYou. These codes are case-sensitive and must be entered correctly to gain access. Users can receive these codes via email, as a contact, or directly from the team/group admin.

  1. In left column, click the blue Join Team/Group button.

  2. Enter the 8 digit code. Ensure the code is entered exactly as provided, as it is case-sensitive.

TIP: You have to be invited to a team/group via code, email or as a contact. If you encounter issues, consider reaching out to sportsYou support for further assistance.

If you encounter an issue where the access code is marked as invalid, follow these steps:

  1. Double-check the Code: Carefully re-enter the code, ensuring there are no typos or missing characters. Remember, access codes are case-sensitive.

  2. Verify the Entry Location: Make sure you are entering the code in the correct section for the intended team or group.

  3. Request a New Code: If the code still doesn’t work, it may be invalid or expired. Contact the team or group admin to request a new access code.

APP

  1. In bottom tray, tap Teams/Groups.

  2. Tap floating blue (+) button

  3. Tap Join Team/Group.

  4. Enter Access Code and select your role on the team. If you have copied the code, you can paste it directly by pressing down in the input field.
