Transferring Ownership of a Team
If you are the creator of a team and wish to leave, you can transfer ownership to another member. The process varies slightly depending on the platform you are using:
On the APP Platform:
Go to the Teams/Groups section.
Select Members under the team banner photo.
Tap the three-dots menu next to your name.
Choose Change Team Role and assign a new role to another member.
On the WEB Platform:
Open your Team/Group page.
Click on Members under the team banner photo.
Use the six-dots menu next to your name to drag and assign a new role to another member.
Once you have provided another member with admin rights you can leave the team. This process ensures that the responsibilities of team management are transferred to the new owner.
